| Dear Members, Future and Potential Spartans, Laissez les bons temps rouler – À la Spartiate    We’re excited to invite all members and potential members to an upcoming Membership Meeting as we gear up for a fun-filled year celebrating our 75th Anniversary  with the theme: “Sparta’s Silver Celebration: A Diamond Jubilee.”  Join us to hear about the exciting plans for the coming year, beginning this summer of 2025. As a diverse and inclusive organization, Sparta offers a welcoming environment for everyone to participate in the magic of Mardi Gras.We invite you to join us for an exciting Membership Meeting!Whether you’re a longtime member or just Mardi Gras-curious, bucket list item, come enjoy a festive evening and learn more about all the incredible events we have planned. This is a great opportunity to get information about the Krewe of Sparta—a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive organization where everyone is welcome! We have a fantastic lineup of events including membership meetings  , a fish fry  , bingo  , a series of dinners  , and other engaging events as we commemorate this special milestone. A light dinner and desserts  will be served.Looking ahead to the fall  , we will hold the coronation of King Sparta LXXIII and the Queen of Sparta 2026  . Early 2026 will bring the Sparta Bal Masque  and the Spartan Room After-Ball-Party on January 30th,  culminating with our spectacular Krewe of Sparta parade  through the uptown streets of New Orleans on Saturday, February 7, 2026.  We look forward to seeing you on May 28th!  This is a great opportunity for prospective members to learn more about the Krewe of Sparta celebrating 75 years of Mardi Gras tradition.
